Mazurka Pie or Pie with Dried Fruits

This is one of the best pies from my granny. I remember she had lots of delicious pie recipes, but this one was the easiest and tastiest. The trick is that the variety of fruits can always change based on your taste and what you have at home. Here we go!





Recipe:


1 cup walnuts ( cut into pieces) 1/2 cup dried apricots ( cut into pieces) 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup dried plums(cut into pieces) 4 oz poppy seeds(optional) 1 cup flour 5 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder Vanilla extract

Directions: 1. Mix eggs and sugar until fluffy, then add flour and baking powder. When done add walnuts, raisins, apricots, plum, poppy seeds and vanilla. Heat the oven and bake in 350F for 50 mins.

Ready to go and ready to serve!
